This is one of the most popular beaches in Kerala and is a favourite picnic spot for both locals and visitors. It has an ancient pier that is at least 140 years old. You can check out one amazing old lighthouse which is nearby Alappuzha Beach. This is so captivating that it attracts hundreds of tourists. You can also check out exciting the Nehru trophy boat race that takes place with large attending crowds shouting and screaming in loud to encourage the participants. Earlier this place was also famous for camel safari, but unfortunately, it’s banned now.
